deleting a program that want go away

go to start menu, and click "run". Type in "msconfig" and then click on "start menu". You'll probably find the program there and is ticked along with other rubbish which tends to "stick" on the system. Untick the offending program and click OK. Re-boot and it should have gone. I had the same problem.

although kwd1954 said to run msconfig this will stop the program from running but will not delete it from your computer to do this you can type "regedit" instead of msconfig and delete it from your registry. be very careful what you delete from registry, you may not be able to get it back if you make a mistake
