Kazaa v's pop up stopper

I have enigma pop up stopper installed. When I try to run Kazza it says there is a problem because I have anti ad software installed. I have tried disabling the pop up stopper but to no effect. Does anyone know a way round this? I don't want to have to install kazaa everytime I want to use it. Thanks

Kazaa contains SpyWare and needs this to function (a company has legal access to your computer habits and they pay Kazaa for the privilege of spying on their customers and thus, keep Kazaa free). It's not illegal, but it is annoying. Without reprogramming some computer code you can't stop this, unless your AdWare software is a good one - sometimes you can have a list of "allowed" companies. That way it will ignore the SpyWare Kazaa is running on your computer and allow it to function normally.

Get rid of Kazaa and download Kazaa Lite instead - exactly the same as Kazaa only more widely used and no adverts, pop-ups or spyware. Some kind soul may well even post a link for you to download it.

But I don't condone it, 'cause it's illegal :)

Then you are running the wrong version of KazaaLite. Do a google for klitekpp243e.exe

i no longer use kazaa - the p2p files posted are full of idiots who deliberately post wrong files and also kazaa is virus city !

Anyone idiotic enough to run peer-to-peer software on their PC deserve every problem they get. Its akin to giving a burglar your front-door key.

Unless, dodgeshirt one is intelligent enough to exercise caution. In around five years of running peer-to-peer software most days, not once have I received a virus or any other problem.

what does peer to peer software mean? (not very good with computers) but i do know that recently i uninstalled kazaa and my computer is running a lot faster now
