How can I record radio programmes for listening later?
3 Answers
I would like to be able to listen to certain radio programmes, later, in the car, but the ones I want don't seem to have a download option. I thought I could somehow record programmes from the BBC Listen Again service. My pc speakers have a headset socket so I suppose I could record onto cassette from there. The car radio will take CD, MP3 or memory card, which would be better methods, with my preference for CD or MP3. Or can anyone advise a different way of being able to listen to radio programmes? Thanks.

You can get it here

I am sure a search round the web would turn up other similar products.
Or you can go to web site download.com and see if they have anything there you can download. This is a huge site full of free or shareware software which is searchable.

Assuming you're using Windows, you can use Audacity.
See here for instructions of what you want to do:

This requires the computer to be turned on when the radio programme is going out, thought.
Look into podcasts... if your radio programme does them, then you can download them, which from the BBC tend to be 'best bits' of the radio show.
