I first had a NTL broadband account when I started uni 4 years ago and therefore also had an email adress, I have used NTL/Virginmedia since then, until June last year. My email address has been working fine since then, but having tried to sign in on numerous occasions today, it is telling me that my email address is not recognised. Can they just cancel my email account without telling me? Thanks in advance! Bx

are you still paying them to host your e-mali?

I assume from what you say you went elsewhere in june 07?

don't think of it as losing an e-mail ... think of it as a frreebie you had for 9 months

Wasn't really sure what happened to the email account afterwards. (I tend not to read instructions or small print etc...) When u put it like that, nice one!
If you use a web based email like gmail it doesn't matter who your internet provider is.
Of course they're within their rights to cancel your email account squarepants.

Look at it like this. Would you provide a service to a client free of charge? They are not a charity after all.
