No, SP2 only has firewall. It has measures to prevent viruses from spreading, but it's not anti-virus software. Personally, I would install SP2 but keep your current anti-virus (if it works with SP2!). Personally, I'm sticking to SP1 for another few weeks to see how things go.
Yes, we agree with that here and won't be installing sp2 on any of the clients until sp2 has proved itself else where first. If you still wish to keep your pc running automatic updates but don't wish to instal sp2 just yet, Microsoft has released a small download which will delay sp2's auto-installation for 120 days (4 months) from 16 August. This tool can be downloaded from here - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=33518 Just choose "Open" when asked & follow the on-screen instructions.
or you might prefer to go to this link first and click the download link yourself: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=8BC E6BBA-EA5D-4425-89C1-C1CB1CCD463C&displaylang=en
When you install SP2 you will find a new icon in Control Panel called Security Center. This lets you configure your PC how you want it regarding firewall,anti-virus & automatic updates.
