I have made a movie on Moviemaker that came with my Windows Xp on my new computer. I would like to burn it onto dvd but cannot,. Is there some software or other that I can buy to do this? Or will I never be able to burn it?

Hi gloglo You should be able to use xp's built in feature i.e. "drag-and-drop" the file onto the dvd drive (assuming your dvd drive is also a dvd burner). You can do this through windows explorer or you can left-click "once" the file in question, then click the "copy this file" link which will the appear on the left hand side. Good luck. I'm sure that is the most convenient way to copy onto disc, but http://www.videohelp.com/ is always a good & comprehensive site to browse, if a little overwhelming for some to begin with.
if u want to burn it so you can play it on your dvd player etc. you will need to convert the .wmv to mpeg2 you can do this with a stoik app. Google 'stoik convert' then you need something like roxio to burn it. if u just want to put it on a disk, follow allan k.
