Landline Telephone Security

Anyone know if you can buy a Landline telephone that has a pin code option with it ? - i.e like on a mobile - you have to enter a pin before you can use it - my teenage daughter is sneaking down at night calling mobile numbers on it! Ive pulled the plug & hidden phone at the moment but am looking for a better less inconvienient solution...

hi there what nework provider have you got. my mom is with vigin and they set her a pin code to put in to activate the lock. then when she wants to call someone she just puts it in again. seriously talk to your provider and mention this and i bet they know what it is. other solution getrs a cordless phone and on the evening just take it to bed with you as it will be fully charged due to it being in the pouch charging all day

Your landline provider should be able to set up call barring to mobiles. They may be able to block just the numbers she is calling or insist she pays for the calls she has made.

Run a telephone extension to your bedroom and plug it in your room at night

try here, it's a domestic pay phone with a owner pin number, won't stop her calling as long as she pays for the calls
