The two red lights are flashing alternately. You can't print to it. I presume this means the ink is out.
How do you know which ink colour needs replacing?

Install that and you get all sorts of online help and instructions.
In mine, when the ink is running low it comes up with a small window and shows you which ink is empty, a bit like this

On mine, after I have installed the software, I have an Epson menu and on there one of the options gives step by step guide to showing which ink is empty and changing the ink.

Most Epsons will tell you which ink is low if you do the following:
Open the lid
Press the ink button
The carrier will move to roughly the middle of the printer so that the low cartridge lines up with an arrow on the case
Press the button again, and the carrier moves to the right so that you can open in and replace the cartridge.

Hi koster, sorry if I seemed to patronise you with the first reply, I wasn`t . But having said that, you may be pleased to know that now I have printing problems, and before you have a go at me, yes, I have looked in the book but to no avail. Just in case anyone can help, I have been to the Isle of Wight for a few days and switched off my computer, and when I switched it back on I get `Check Ink` displayed, which I have done and refilled both cartridges but still get the same message. Any help out there will be much appreciated. Many TIA.
