Does anyone know how to get rid of them appearing on my monitor ? On my previous laptop, I did something (accidentally I think lol) and they mysteriously vanished one day.......which was great.... On this new pc, they are irritating the heck out of me ! I've downloaded Adblock Plus from Firefox thinking that would do it, but no joy so far....

Just drag the right side of the browser window in until they don't fit.

You probably had your old computer at a low video resolution which has the same effect.

Thanks Beso... but I don't think that was the solution before.... I could see the *Got an answer* and *Recent posts* - just not the stuff below ! I can also recollect clicking on a little tab labelled *Block* above the advert over on the left <<<<<< to hide that one (below all the categories).....
