hi, if an item is described as being an unused, unregistered with any network phone, does that mean any sim can just be put in and it will work?

thanks lakitu i thought so, so if an 02 sim that is fully working is put in and dont work, can the only problem be that it aint unlocked?
That's correct, if that's the case, it will only cost you a tenner or so to have it unlocked.
