Internet Explorer Locking-up
1 Answers
I am fed up with having to "system restore" my Dell Dimension more and more often. It goes like this:
1) Fire up Internet Explorer - OK
2) Click on a new tab browser - "Connecting" - BUT never does. In fact the entire systen freezes and only recourse is to use Task Manager to kill IE.
3) Only solution from Dell is then to system restore.
This occurs more and more frequently and I am sure someone must know the underlying cause.
Any ideas?

Disconnect the power from the computer and make sure the memory is seated properly. Pull it out and push it back in making sure the clips go right in to the slots at the ends of the RAM cards.
Maybe Windows is half updated. I had problems with IE when only some updates had loaded. Try using Firefox until everyting is updated.
