Is there a simple site or table that will take a pantone colour number and give me RGB values that I can use to print a simple visual comparison chart for inspection purposes

if it was that simple no one would bother using it.
Pantone is a trade name which describes an exact standard for colour chemistry (not just printing)
if the tints in your print cartridge are only slightly off ... you get a whole new set of colours.
Even displaying onscreen examples is useless - for the same reason (unless you have the kit to set up your screen)
you need to contact your printer ... and find out where they get their ink ... and see if you can buy or blag a card book (which is a work of art in itself as they are quite expensive to produce).
