Laptop running slow.

Hi folks,

I am a computer novice & maybe a bit of a dumbo, but just recently my laptop is taking absolutely ages to get my 'homepage' up.

I would appreciate any suggestion.

You say your laptop is slow, then you say it takes ages to get your homepage up.

The speed to get your homepage up is more likely to be your internet connection than your laptop, your laptop may be fine.

Is your laptop running as normal or has it slowed down recently (i dont mean for using the internet but other things).

Is the internet slow on ALL web pages ALL the time, or is it just certain web pages at certain times.

Are you on a dialup connection or on broadband.
