Sony handycam DCR-SR35

I have HandyCam DCR-SR35. The software tells me how to "analyse" my videos but what does "analysing" do, please? I also would like to know if there's anyway of linking/joining videos together to form one longer video, please? Thanks!

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Not sure about that analysing thingymajig, but as for sticking them together you can use Windows Movie Maker for this (if you're on windows!) You can also use a separate one, as WMM is quite limited. The one I used to use was called Magix (http://www.magix.com/uk/movie-edit-pro/plus/pr /) though some of the interface could've been polished up a bit and it was a german program, and some of the english translations were a bit poor at times (or non-existent in the title bars)
That linky gives you the most recent version. I bought mine (vers 9) when 10 had just come out on amazon, and got it for ~�30. If you wanted to go all out you could get the adobe one!
