Can you download microsoft office free. My neighbour had a chap who was working with his computer and more or less deleted his programs off.

Also his printer deleted and I think my neighbour has lost the program disc of the printer. any help out there.

I have lent him my microsoft disc to load on but he (neighbour) is easy going - i dont know whether it will work - none of us are technical minded.

No, you can't download Office for free. Your disc should work as long as you still have the product key (Microsoft obviously would not advocate this practice!). There is a free equivalent to Office which can be found at

http://www.openoffice.org/

With regards to the printer, if the drivers have been deleted from the computer you can go to the manufacturers website and download new ones.

Find out the make of the printer - ie Canon, HP, Epson and search for their website, they usually have options for downloads/support and you can find the drivers for the model of the machine you are searching for.

If you're looking for English websites they generally end in .co.uk.
