how do I uninstall

I am trying to uninstall my "Alot" Toolbar. but when I log on to my Control Panel I find an Add Hardware Icon but no delete Icon.What am I doing wrong.?

1. Go to the Start menu. Click on Control Panel.

2. Please double-click on Add or Remove Programs which is located in the Control Panel window.

3. Select the ALOT Toolbar. Then click on the Change/Remove button.

4. Follow the instructions that appear on your screen to complete the uninstallation.

Thank you both for your answers but my problem is that the Icon on my control panel says Add Programmes and not Add or Remove.

Dear lyj-el and Wildwood,
Panic over.I have now discovered how to uninstall (and have done.!!).The original query was born of my ignorance of following basic instructions but luckily for me I can always rely on nice people like your good selves and indeed the Answer Bank in general.

If you have Vista,then you need Programs and Features, rather than Add or Remove Programs.
