I recall someone ask a question a while ago regarding a player which plays all formats including AVI, FLV, Real Player files without having to change players. Can't seem to remember it. It was even reviewed on the Gadget Show. Does anyone know of the link?

Not too sure about ALL media types, but VLC Media Player does play a lot of different types.

It's the one i use and i've never had a problem yet....

We use one called Gomplayer which plays all sorts of formats.

VLC is great.

On GNU/Linux, lots are available but MPlayer works very well too.
