Pictures in E-Mails

I use Orange web based E-Mailing. I sometimes receive E-Mails with pictures embedded in the body.I can see them ok, but when I try to forward one of these E-Mails the pictures disappear and all there is, is an empty box with a red cross in the corner.Why is this and how can I change it.
