McAfee Virus Software Usage

Can McAfee Anti-Virus Software be used on more than one computer, used by the same Broadband connection, if only one subscription is paid for?

I have found on three PCs I've repaired recently that if the McAfee subscription runs out, it won't let you get onto the internet - at all. Worth remembering...you might want to try something like the NEW version of AVG (version 8.1), or Avast! (both free) or NOD32 (slightly more expensive for three Pcs at �31.48 for a two-user licence - but has a very good reputation amongst PC professionals).
