windows media player..can it rip tunes???

Ive read some posts about wmp in which people are ripping tunes on to thier computer...how do they do this...I dont seem to be able to locate the button for it...am using winme...can anyone give me a clue?

on the lef hand side of the screen you have 5 tabs - one of them says copy from cd.
You need to find a website which offers freemusic or a free sample of a song/ video. Alternatively just search on wmp. any tune which you listen to can be added to play list. Once you have a playlist- any of these tunes can be burned onto a cd..i hope this helps..
when people rip tunes it means they take them from cd - not burn to them !! for the poster - are you running media player 9 ? maybe you have a much older version without these options
I have copied my own cd's to WMP9 and then burned them to disk so that I can use them in the car. Like Gandy says. Look on the left and you will se 3rd button down. Copy from CD. It's easy.
