Ok went to the beach the otherday and dropped my fone into a rockpool. very bad. removed the battery, straight away and dryed the fone for about a week. when i put my brothers battery in the fone it starts up with out pressing the power button, and the fone randomly restarts its self.

also the fone doesnot recognise the sim card. apart from once where the fone actually worked. untill it turned itself off again. i havent got insurance otherwise i would have claimed there, can anyone help/ suggestions

it sounds knackered. the k850i should be cheap enough to replace anyway

phone dropped in fresh water.... you dry it and it probably will work again

Phone dropped in salt water...not a hope in hell thats gonna work again!!

The sim may be ok and might work in another phone

Time to buy a new phone!
