laptop screen replacement - what screen?
3 Answers
I need to replace my toshiba laptop screen 15.4"
Do I have to get the specific model number or can I use any toshiba 15.4" screen to relace it?
I'm gonna do it myself cos its pretty easy, I just wanna make sure I order the right screen.
Could I use and other brand of 15.4" screen?
(this I doubt cos the screws will be in different places probably)
Does anyone know where the sheapest screens are?

if not then although any screen from a similar aged 15.4 toshiba laptop that runs the same screen resolution would probably work you'd be better and safer to get one meant for your actual lappy.

chuck is almost certainly right
but (and it could be an expensive but ....)
if you are wrong .... you have a screen that you could have trouble returning - 'cause you'll only know when you've unpacked it
I don't know Ian1's suggestion ... but you'd guess that they'd fit the right one....
assuming it's a fair price ... I'd consider it
