Humax PVR

I bought my Humax about 4 months back, its brillient wish I had known about it years ago. I bought mine through currys and paid top price �180. The reason I went that way was after surfing the net for days I thought that if anything were to go wrong it was easier to pop down to currys, rather than all the trouble of packing the thing up and the high cost of postage ( i know the law)
Regards to the HD bit there are so many catches in ads, there are at least four variations 1080p, 1080i.720, and just HD. I recently bought a 1080p camcorder and the pictures are out of this world.in clarity and colour. I also have a normal camcorder and the pictures on the TV are c... compared to the 1080p

good to hear a good report about the humax i'm waiting for the same product with a hard drive to come out later in the year to record all those glorious natural history progs in HD
