Hi,

may be a silly question but does any one know if a playstation game with a handheld pistol, will work when connected to a plasma screen,

i seem to remember that the point of fire was calculated by where (on old style CRT screen) the tv was displaying its pixel(s) was at that moment in time, or am i talking rubbish,

does a plasma screen work in the same manner?

Yea I think it should work fine.

I don't think they work with rear projection sets.
some used a reference block which scanned the screen ...
some your method

the only (quite unlikely these days) problem you may have is that some LCD screens have quite slow pixels (compared to crt - you sometimes see "submarining" when objects move quickly accross a screen)
so there may be an element of delay

Many hardcore gamers still swear by CRT for action games (although the differences are miniscule now - and more a point of snobbery that anything)
