Does anyone know of a device I can buy to secretly stop my neighbors dog barking through a wooden fence. They will not do anything about it, it is very annoying.
Many thanks
I doubt such a device exists but if it's a problem and the neighbours won't do anything, try contacting the environmental health section of your local council.
Had the same problem with a guy who has five barkers . Called in the environmental agency , they were great - gave him an asbo and it stopped .
If it persists he is liable for a 1000 fine.
We don't talk but hey who cares , it's heaven!.
im soryy cant help as my dog never ever barked i tol her off the 1st time i got her as pup and she just never barked only on a full moon and she had a bark and little sing song neighbours didnt complain they were quite amused it started at 12am you couldnt here any other dogs doing this just her. i think peoples dogs who bark are because they kept saying to pup whos that and get them going as all thedogs i have ever had dont bark much including a jack russel to labrador so its the owners fault and if they have to pay that 1000 fine i bet they will stop the dogs barking hope you get it resolvd tiara.
you can buy a gadget
that lets out a sound that humans cannot hear
its supposed to stop dogs barking
in got the mag through the door
i might still have it
do want me to look
i think it was about 30 pounds
Camioneur - 12 bore sounds good but I would be tempted to do the owner too.
Henrys- thanks for the info, the one on cn-ice does not have a long enough range & may not be effective through a fence, I have looked at these before.
Someone told me they had seen a new device recently on GMTV which they thought would work. I can't find it on their web-site
Thank you all.
Don't bother with that gadget, we got one of those for the same purpose (dog over the back fence) and it was useless because you had to be within something like 6 feet of the dog for it to work. Any time the dog came close enough to the fence to use it, the noise frightened it off and it ran out of range again!
if the owner lets the dog do it and makes no attempt to stop it then it's probably a better idea to let the owner have both barrels instead of using one on the dog. Well I am a dog lover so yea, go for it.
