I use Sonic Record Now but i think most burning software will burn to cd in mp3 format. There should be an option at the start of the program to burn as a data cd. When you burn as a data cd it will convert it to mp3 automatically so that you can fit well over 100 tracks on one cd.
Most burning software allows you to do this - what do you use?
if you want to rip cds try dBpowerAMP Music Converter - its free http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm however some new music cds include protection to stop you ripping them. There is a commercial solution that gets round the protection called AnyDVD. http://www.slysoft.com/en/anydvd.html

Try www.musicmatch.com and download Jukebox. If you can find your way through the links, there is a free version.
