personal back up

Nobody so far able to help me with how to delete personal backup on philips iqon so I can restore system back to factory settings. Because I backed up files on previous recovery it reinstalls all old files from that backup. Got all files saved to discs and have all install discs for system. Any ideas????

Did you ever find the solution to this problem, please? I have exactly the same trouble, made worse by the fact that my new security system won't load until I remove the old system from Personal Backup, which I can't do. I've been searching for the answer for days, without success.
If I ever do find an answer I'll share it with you, but I'm not optimistic.
