SAS Code - return 5 records per value in a variable
0 Answers
Hi,
I am quite new to SAS coding so I apologise if this question is easy to answer....
I have a file that contains 20,000 records. The variables in my file are name, age, address and country.
The country variable contains the following values: England, France, Holland, Wales, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Paraguay, Turkey.
Can someone please tell me how to create a data set to pull in only 5 records per country (So if it works correctly I should have a dataset containg 45 records- 5 from each country)
Hopefully someone can help?
Chris
