If you've got photos on your hard drive you can see thumbnails of them, but if they're on a memory card or memory stick inserted into your PC, you can't see thumbnails.

Is there any way round this?

There's a website I upload photos to using the website's own upload feature in Internet Explorer. I want to do this without having to copy the photos to my hard drive first.

When the folder opens with the memory stick's content, click the 'view' tab on the top of the folder and click the 'thumbnails' option.
Then go to the 'Tools' tab and open the Folders Option. There you should choose the 'view' tab and click 'Apply to all Folders".
From now on, all the folders you open should should the content as thumbnails.
I really wouldn't do the second part of the above answer.

Clicking on view and changing the view for the folder with the memory stick to thumbnails is fine but setting all folders to the same view is going to make it a real pain when you start viewing folders with something like documents in it.
