downloading from a camcorder

Once I have d/loaded from a c/corder or camera onto my pc is there any way that i can alter the brightness/colour / contrast etc???? Thanks

Yes you can provided you have the apropriate software installed. The Video Studio range by Pinnacle is very good and provides a range of effects for you to play with.
If you are using WinXP then that comes with free movie maker software which has some rudimentary effects but they are not very tweakable in that it's a very simple drag n drop operation. If you need more control then go for Video studio or similar.
