Help small writing

When I go to most sites the writing is so small I can hardly read it. Any suggestions how to rectify this problem?

What browser are you using?

IE6, 7, Firefox?

Try clicking the View on the top row - there will be something there about text size, and you can alter it that way.

I'm extremely surprised my suggestions don't work

Ethel, I have the same problem as the OP. I have recently started using a laptop, and the type on AB is so small that I find I'm making mistakes I don't notice before submitting my post.

I can get the type bigger on my desktop - it's the type in the AB pages that I am struggling with - the type that you are reading now.

Well I'm blessed Ethel - I take all that back.

I've just held down Control and + and it's worked!

on Firefox go to View > Zoom if the Control key procedure Ethel mentioned doesn't work

A little more to add.

You can use Firefox 3 (a free browser), to browse the internet instead of Internet Explorer.

It has many, many advantages. But importantly here, it remembers the text zoom size for each individual website, so the next time you visit that site, the page is already at a suitable size.
