Portable media device

I want a portable (pref rechargeable) device that plays movies (presumably divx), mp3s and photos (jpegs). I know such things now exist, but can anyone give me advice on what to go for and where to look?

archos make one: http://www.dabs.com/uk/productView.htm?quicklinx=2FB4 alternatively, you can buy a portable dvd player - these wil lplay all the above and you can write photos onto a cd. Depends on if you want to store the information like a hard drive or put it onto cd / dvd Either browse around the internet shops like dabs or go into somewhere like Dixons/Maplins etc.

I've seen the Archos AV420 in Dixons dury-free at �300. This looks good and I'm definitely considering it.
