I would like to be able to diplay whatever is on my PC screen on my TV screen. I have a S video socket on my TV but not on my PC. Is it possible without having to change my graphics card to one with a S video socket? If it is possible can anyone describe how please.

I do it this way: my VCR has inputs for a camcorder (Yellow = Video, Red & White = Audio), I connect the graphics card output to the yellow socket using a phono cord, and the sound card to the red/white sockets. Then I change the video channel to the camcorder input (AV3 on mine) and the TV to the video output. You may also have to look at your graphics card settings for the best results (I find Clone display best).
Does your graphics card have any video outputs at all? If so, you'll only need a cable, otherwise you'll need a convertor box as the signals for monitor (VGA) and TV are different.

My graphics card only has one output- for the monitor. Its a NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400
I have that card - mine has a small yellow socket for video to the right of the monitor socket.

Mine only has the blue socket for the monitor, looks like yet another upgrade on the cards!
