N73 with bluetooth radio

I have a N73 phone and a bluetooth, and i wish to listen to the radio via it but it keeps saying it needs a handsfree kit which bluetooth is. How can i listen to it via the bluetooth? do i need new firmware in the phone or something?

You need the headset because the phone uses the wire as the aerial. it won't work without the headset.

Doesn't the N73 have bluetooth built in? Can you not just plug in the headphones you received with the phone to listen to the radio? The headphone's wire acts as an aerial... I think.

But, when i put the radio on loud speaker, and remove the cable i still hear the radio and its smooth? this is where i got confused. Also, Would that work with the N95 8GB version? as im about to upgrade my phone to that one
