kazaa 20 minute nothing

recently when i download songs (-new ones-) they apear to be 14, 17, 21..bla bla minutes long and i hear nothing. i have kazaa 2.71. please can someone help me?

Do you have the lastest media player and (assuming they are mp3) mp3 codecs? You media player may not be able to understand the compression.

Mattk is right, quite a lot i download what think is the song i want but after a bit it goes to nothing (if im lucky) coz sometimes it makes a horrible screeching sound

These are possibly 'fake' files, possibly put there by the record companies to stop people dloading them
