mobile phone contracts??

Hi there!!
My 16 year old daughter is always on her mobile - what's new i hear you cry!!!
Well she's looking at getting a phone on contract. T Mobile have one for �30 per month, 700 minutes and unlimited texts.
Now no-one in my family has a phone on contract so could someone please tell me if this is a good idea?
And also anything I should be wary of.

and have a read. The only thing i would say is that once you sign the cotract then thats it your tyed in for 18 months no matter what happens you pay �30 a month.
