getting audio off youtube

can anyone give me a simple step-by-step guide (I'm hopeless with technology) to getting audio (only) off a Youtube clip and putting it on my Windows Media Player?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.If you download and install Audacity audio recorder (it is free to use) , set it to record Stereo Mixer. This will record anything that plays through your pc speakers.
Now go to your Youtube page and play the sound you want. Once finished choose export as either wav or mp3 (you may need extra codecs to generate mp3s)
You will now be able to play the sound in win media player.

Another way is to download and install real player (the free version) and anytime you go on youtube or a similar site there will be a small popup window saying donload this video. Click on this and it will save the video into the realplayer libary fror you to watch any time.
