Underfloor Hearting under a 21mm engineered oak

I Have electric underfloor heating in a 6inch screed which has a 21mm engineered oak finish which has been stuck down on it. The heating comes on and my subfloor will get up to 27 degrees easily but then i am getting a 9 degree difference in temperature from the bottom of the wood to the top. Has any one else coe across this problem and does any one have any answers?

heat transfer across materials is based on the materials thermal conductivity.eg copper 410:insulation materials 0.035 to 0.16:hardwood ( oak etc) 0.16.
as the oak floor appears to be a pretty good insulator you would get not get the sub floor temperature at floor level.
thinner oak boards or different material boards would alleviate the problem or it may be something you have to live with.
