im trying to install the free version of google earth + when i click 'run' the window just closes then nothing happens. Help please!!

perhaps it has installed and it's an icon on your screen? Or to be found under All Programs on your start menu?

Or maybe your graphics card isn't up to spec. I would check out their website to make sure you have the minimum requirements.
