will anyone tell this thick silver surfer how to partition to enable me to put another operating system on my vista premium.

What are you hoping to achieve? If you want to boot Linux you can do it from a flash drive or cd.

Silver surfer eh I would sooner be out on our local marsh in a fog at night with the tide running in than get involved with o/s, and yes ime a thick silver surfer as well ,good luck with your problem

vista will dual boot - but honestly it's probably more trouble than it's worth.
In just about every case - Ideally vista goes on last
