Digital Aerial
7 Answers
Does anyone know roughly what I should be paying to have a new digital aerial fitting?
It will be to replace the old aerial and fit the new one and feed to living room and a bedroom. I think I will be needing new co-axal wiring too.
I understand that the price will vary due to area so if it helps I am in the Midlands.
Cheers

aerials suitable for receiving freeview are very often referred to as digital aerials
The cost will vary depending on a lot of things, ease of access to the aerial (if it's on the side of the house it's easier than if it's on a chimney on top of the roof). The route they have to run the cables ETC ETC
you will be looking at at least 150 for a simple supply and fit, could be as much as 300 for a more complicated one.

despite living in a bungalow .... and being a keen fan of Rod Hull and Emu (whatever happened to them?)
The wife said it would be best to have a bloke in to do it right (?!)
anyhoo - he says he'll fit an analogue aerial for 80 or a digital for 95.

oop north fitting an aerial is cheaper than down south - 'cause we only watch coronation street, emmerdale and strictly ;-/
more points will cost extra.
