How do i download whole webpages and content to my hard disk, even password protected ones? i do have a legitimate reason, by the way!

Assuming you're using IE, go to File > Save As and then make sure "Save as Type" = "Web Page, Complete (*htm, *html)" I don't know if this will work with password protected pages though.
click favourites/add new and then check the "make available offline" box
there is an excellent prog called HTTTrack (i think, not used it in years) and it will give you a lot more options for saving sites. You'll need the password for saving password protected files though =)
