What does it mean if an ip adresss comes up as ip pool ?

Ive got a few emails that come up as bt central .
Same from 2 different people.

How is this possible?
Or is it just normal?

Is there a proper IP address after the BT Central? There should be

if it's an IP address in a mail header and your trying to locate where that IP address originated from then perfectly normal for it to come up as "IP pool" or similar. it just means that the IP address is one of lots that that ISP has in a pool to be dynamically assigned when a user logs onto the internet.
