How do I transfer music from iTunes to my Nokia 6300?
6 Answers
Can anyone please tell me in non-techno speak how I transfer music currently in my iTunes library on my PC onto my Nokia 6300 phone (to use as a ring tone)?
I have a USB lead to connect my phone to the PC and I have downloaded the Nokia PC Suite software onto my PC.
The odd thing is that when I ask the aforementioned software to find music on my PC, it tells me "no music found" - I have nearly 1000 songs in my iTunes!

I used this process for my friends N95
With the phone connected to the pc by your USB lead and without opening the Nokia suite.
open 'My Computer' there you will see the icon for your nokia. Double click on this and you get into the phone.
Assuming your phone has a memory card you will get 2 icons now, 1 for the card, other for the on board memory.
If it has a card double click on this icon (other if not) and look for a folder called sounds.
By opening this you should see 2 more folders with one called Digital.
Open this and you will be able to copy and paste your tracks into it.
Remember that some nokias need to have their music folder refreshed on the phone so as to read them.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for all those answers folks.
I had a "play" yesterday and somehow managed to transfer a song into the "predefmusic" folder on my phone's memory card, which I then set as my ringtone. The odd thing is that I originally put it in the "Music" folder of my phone, yet that folder showed as "empty" and the tune wasn't there when I looked!! AAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!
I now just need to know how I find out how much storage space I have on memory card!
