resizing grouped items in Quarkxpress 6.1

I'm sure it's possible to transform or resize a grouped item...but I can't find it any of the menus... help...?

No it in't. What you might do is cut & paste to a new document of slightly larger size than the grouped items, save that page as an eps, and then use the eps as a picture in your original document. Repro quality is an issue here. I'ts usually best to amend the original or start from scratch, depending on what you are doing the artwork for.
I'm not aware of a resize command in the menu but you can easily resize by grouping it all and then clicking on one of the corner 'handles' whilst holding Shirft, Alt and Apple Key to keep the proportions the same. Is this what you meant?
