What do you want to do when you link them?

I doubt bluetooth is what you want to be looking at, Bluetooth is for data or audio services only, not video.

If you have a TV output on your computer (or if your TV has a standard VGA input) you can simply link it to the tv using a suitable lead so you can view your computer on the TV
If you want to view your tv, or recorded programs on your skybox or other recorder, on your laptop, you could use a slingbox

I assume if you want to connect to your freeview tv you aren't intending to record from a different country or 'owt fancy

short answer is you can't without a lot of grief and expense

a slingbox costs 100 -180 (depending on model)

you can get a usb freeview doofer for 12 ....
http://www.google.co.uk/products?q=usb+freevie w&hl=en-GB&show=dd

an aerial splitter for 80p and a short lead for 1.50
to you ... 15.00 the lot
mmmm let's see ... which is best value?

Thank you all for your input.
I think it may be easier to connect an up-to-date iPod to the TV (when I get one)!! I have already seen TV's with built-in docks, although the particular one was too small for the lounge....
