My Larder Fridge (no ice box) went into a defrost which it does occassionally but stayed off for over a day and very wet inside. Adjusted the temp control but no response or motor running.. Contacted a store to get a new one delivered quick for Christmas look at it again it was cold and frosty inside and OK .
Rang the store told them not to deliver the new one just yet.
Today of course back to stage 1 again and no response.

Light is working,,,drainage hole not blocked....is it perhaps only the thermistor ?

Lol.....I read that as 'Is my fridge sucking'
how do you know the light is working ..... it might be staying on!

I think It's a fairly easy decision ... new fridge or .... salmonella

you get that over xmas ... and it will be more than the turkey that's stuffed

If the light is shining it is working
As to staying on
Ah.......Aaahh....thats easy.
There is a triangular switch on the door frame.
I said it was on on lt to prove it was powered up.

Secondary Question..
New arrived this morning but surely they should last more than 3 years which seems to be the case with our fridges
It is just as though they were designed to cause an old fridge disposal mountain isnt it.
