texting someone in spain....

i sent a text to my pal who has gone to spain...she has a british phone, on tmobile.

it came back as failed twice...an i tried adding +44


is there another number i should add?

If she has a British phone, you should dial 0044 then the number, omitting the first zero, or simply dial her number as normal. If it fails, it's 'cos she didn't organise roaming before she left the UK.

ccould be as simple as her not arranging to roam

or even simpler if she has no credit you cant call her or send texts as it costs her to receive both of these

if you have a british phone and you're sending to a british phone regardless of what country that phone is in then just the ordinary phone number will be enough. You do not need any 0044 or +44 just the 07etc
