Can SCART connectors be shortend e.g. from 1.5 m to .5m? Any gadgetry that will do the job?
On DVD recorders what does "Stop Mode" mean?

unless your pretty handy with a soldering iron then Just curl it up... or buy shorter leads.

And I should think stop mode would mean it's not playing or recording.

Many thanks, Chuck. I have a plethora of 1.5 m bunched leads behind my set-up. Your 0.5m would make a much tidier job. I'm missing something with 'stop mode' - no explanation in the manual
