error on page

on many websites I pull up the subject homepage, but if I must click an option to get to another page I get "error on page" in the bottom left corner of the page and "done" but no transfer to the next requested page. this seems to have only started to occur after the installation of sp2 - help

You may have a pop-up blocker active. in this case if the page re-directs you to a pop-up, it will be blocked (usually accompanied by a sound). I think most blockers can be overridden by holding down the ctrl key when clicking on the link.
